Current News - Vertex Architecture, Inc.

November 2010: Construction has begun on the prototype for the Prefabricated Modular building that Vertex Architecture, Inc. has been developing along with Worldwide Modular (formerly Miami Modular). The modules are designed to fit inside standard shipping containers, allowing them to be delivered to any site world wide. The prototype building is designed as a low-cost housing project in North Miami, however, the modules are flexible and can be designed as residential (affordable housing to luxury apartments), hospitality, office and just about any building type. The construction of the modules occurs in a warehouse making construction an efficient and sustainable practice, and their portability make it the perfect construction scenario for difficult sites such as in the Caribbean. The modules comply with the Florida Building Code, thus making them Hurricane compliant, as well as earthquake compliant.
